Rooted and Rising is a Christian homeschool co-op dedicated to partnering with families to nurture faith, foster community, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Grounded in the truth of Hebrews 10:23-24, we strive to encourage one another, love well, serve our community, and pass these qualities on to our children.

Our Roots
Rooted & Rising grew out of an idea that homeschooling does not have to be a lonely or overwhelming endeavor. It can be full of delight, laughter, tears, and vulnerability for the students and the moms. It can be flexible, engaging, enriching, and creative. It can extend beyond the walls of Community Day into field trips, play days, and life in general, and it is a journey best experienced together - as families, as a community.
The founding families of Rooted & Rising have homeschooled together for several years and understand deeply the value of homeschooling side-by-side with like-minded families. They have witnessed firsthand the powerful benefits of shared learning, where children grow up in a rich, supportive environment that fosters both academic growth and character development. The families participated together in a well-known classical co-op in the past and wanted more for their families.
These families believe in cultivating a community that nurtures not only intellectual curiosity but also creativity, friendship, and faith. Through years of shared experiences, they have built a foundation of trust, mutual encouragement, and collaboration, creating what will hopefully be a vibrant educational atmosphere where both students and parents thrive. Together, they have designed a co-op that integrates classical and Charlotte Mason methodologies, enriching each child’s learning journey with art, music, history, and hands-on projects. By walking this path as a community, the founding families seek to inspire and support others on the homeschooling journey, knowing that education is most fruitful and immensely beautiful when done in partnership with others who share similar values and goals.
